The Stellar Performance CEO Awards celebrate Ghana’s most visionary and impactful leaders — executives whose decisions are guided by ethics, whose organizations demonstrate operational and governance excellence, and whose leadership drives measurable impact across their organizations, sectors, and society.
Our rigorous, transparent, and independent selection process ensures that every award reflects true excellence and leadership integrity.
- Nomination Stage
Nominees are first identified by the Editorial Team of Stellar Performance CEO Magazine, based on:
- Publicly available performance data
- Sectoral benchmarks and leadership outcomes
- Institutional and societal impact
Nominees are formally notified of their nomination and invited to validate their nomination via a secure portal. This process allows nominees to provide verified leadership and performance information, ensuring accuracy and completeness while preserving dignity and professionalism.
- Advisory Board Review
An independent Advisory Board of industry leaders, governance experts, and former regulators reviews all nominations. Their responsibilities include:
- Screening submissions for completeness and eligibility
- Evaluating leadership track record and sectoral impact
- Ensuring nominees meet the award’s ethical, governance, and performance standards
- Evaluation Criteria
Nominees are assessed across five pillars that align with the Awards’ 2026 theme:

Scoring is quantitative and weighted, ensuring a fair, objective, and holistic evaluation.

Nominees may optionally provide referee contacts, such as a:
- Board Chair
- Minister
- Company Secretary
This adds credibility, validation, and public-sector confidence to the nomination.
- Shortlisting & Final Decision
- The Advisory Board compiles scores and conducts a qualitative review of leadership impact, innovation, and governance practices.
- Finalists are approved based on overall performance, ethical leadership, and societal impact.
- Selected finalists are prepared for publication in the Stellar Performance CEO Magazine 2026.
- Confirmation & Awards Ceremony
- Finalists are formally notified and invited to submit their final profiles for magazine publication.
- Award winners are announced at the gala on 17th April 2026 at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra.
- All nominees, whether winners or finalists, are professionally recognized for their contribution to leadership excellence.
- Governance & Transparency
The Awards are committed to fairness, transparency, and credibility:
- All submissions and evaluations are independently overseen by the Advisory Board.
